| GIRRINGUN INDIGENOUS RANGER AND GIRRINGUN INDIGENOUS FEMALE RANGER Full time 38 hours per week Girringun Aboriginal Corporation is currently seeking applications to fill the above positions
These positions will provide support to the Ranger Coordinator, Ranger Team and other Coordinators as needed, to deliver all aspects of Land, Sea and Cultural Management throughout the Girringun Region Indigenous Protected Areas. It is expected this role will communicate regularly with Senior Rangers, Ranger Coordinator and Traditional Owners as necessary.
The successful candidates will be required to respect Traditional Owner protocols whilst working these projects on both land and sea country.
These are Indigenous specified positions. Being an Aboriginal or a Torres Strait Islander person is a genuine occupational qualification for both roles under Section 25 of the Qld Anti-Discrimination Act 1991. Being a woman is also a genuine occupational qualification for the role, under Section 25 of the QLD Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
