THE Bureau of Meteorology predicts 10-15mm of rainfall for the Stanthorpe Cup day tomorrow.
Meteorologist Rick Threlfall said it was going to be a cloudy day in Stanthorpe with a fair bit of rain.
"A band of cloud will be moving in from the west over night and in the morning,” he said.
"It is going to be a cloudy day with rain in the morning.”
Mr Threlfall said with a 90 per cent chance, Stanthorpe would experience 10-15mm of rainfall.
"It might even get up to 20mm,” he said.
"But it shouldn't be particularly heavy.
"It will only improve mid- to late afternoon.”
Mr Threlfall said Saturday would be a cool day for this time of the year as well with maximum temperatures about 18 degrees - so pack some appropriate clothing when heading out to Armstrong Park. We will still have a 'bumper day'!
